Feed The World (and you) By Two Degrees

Being on the go every day for work doesn’t always leave time for a consistent and regular eating routine. Meal times vary daily and sometimes you never know where you will end up. Many times I find myself hungry in the late mornings when I have skipped a proper breakfast; and in the afternoons when I should probably be considering dinner, I just need something small to make it through the gym before I am home for a full meal.

I was recently introduced to 2 Degrees Food bars to help with these moments when I need something healthy, convenient and filling: the snack trifecta!

What’s In Them?

Chef Barr Hogen uses real fruit, toasted nuts, seeds, and ancient grains including chia, quinoa & millet in her creations. The four flavors she has created for 2 Degrees Food are apple pecan, chocolate peanut, cherry almond and chocolate banana – excellent mixtures!

Even better for those with food sensitivities (like my mama), these bars are:

Did I mention they are all under 200 calories?!?

Stay Tuned…

So far, I have tried the cherry almond and apple pecan bars, and they were both amazing! The cherry almond was perfect in between work and the gym – the taste was light and not over-powered with cherries.

The next day I was craving something sweet, and the apple pecan bar was just enough to curb the craving and not have a guilty conscious afterwards. I was also amazed at how the bar didn’t melt considering it was sitting in my golf bag for over an hour in ninety degree weather – impressive.

I look forward to trying the others, so be sure to look out for the final review.
